Pillars of Hope is a public outreach working with community officials and law enforcement to help in the fight against human and sex trafficking. Pillars also works to intervene and restore those who have been impacted by this horrible offense. The entire program is based on helping these victims back into society and ultimately reach self-sufficiency.
This is a well-known outreach that has many events and charitable opportunities to get involved in helping with cancer research and treatment.
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
- FIRST: The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;
- SECOND: High ethical standards in business and professions; the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations; and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
- THIRD: The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
- FOURTH: The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
Brentwood Self Storage would like to say thank you to everyone who attended the Relay For Life fundraiser at the Heritage High School Amphitheater on June 17th & 18th 2017.
Our local volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. The turnout at the event was excellent and we welcome all local communities to come together to remember loved ones lost, honor survivors of all cancers, and raise money to help the American Cancer Society make a global impact on cancer.
View the top teams and participants along with the total amount they fundraised for the event on the Relay For Life website.
Prior to opening their doors this summer, the owners of Oakley Self Storage and Retail set about finding and donating to a local charitable organization in town. After much research, they decided to contribute $500 to Friends of Oakley, due to the organization’s great works within the community. The ownership team is not new to the business, as they have owned and operated Brentwood Self Storage for the past 11 years in Brentwood and have been actively involved with the community. From left are Laura Foster, vice president; Nicole Impagliazzo, treasurer; Laura Medina, director at large; Ken Maier, general manger; Kim Ridgway, manager; and Donna Lagano, secretary.
